Care Bear Stare
Grammy had a tenderheart bear that sings and I get pretty excited and attack it. This is me, pre-attack. I'm pretty fierce.

Sticker Fun
I found a sheet of stickers on the floor at Grammy's house. I picked them up and tried to eat them and something weird happened. I found out that stickers are, in fact, sticky. They stick on your fingers and then they get stuck on your face when you try to put them in your mouth. Mommy thought it was pretty funny to see me with a bunch of stickers on my head and then Livi thought it looked like fun so she helped me put even more stickers on my face. We all thought that was pretty funny

A really neat Henry story
We just got this update from Henry's family. Thank you for the prayers for Henry. God is really good. Mommy's been pretty amazed at the power of prayer and the knowing that God is really moving here in NW Arkansas.
"July 5, 2009 Whew! We made it home but not until last night at about 7pm. Our 2-day plan turned into 4 when we couldn’t keep food in our boy. He wasn’t at all interested in his bottle, and his belly was a bit sore so plugging him in was painful. The pain caused him to get pretty worked up, which in typical Henry fashion, would escalate in to a full-on rage and ultimately a big hurl… Not a good cycle. Many prayers, a few tears, and three hours later, we would try again. Thursday passed and we were not making any progress… Friday came, went, and still no progress… Friday afternoon Nikki was in the elevator with her mother and An Na and. Before the door closed, a stranger walked past, stopped in her tracks, backed up and asked if Nikki was Henry’s mother. Nikki responded, and the stranger replied that Henry would be healed in the name of Jesus then walked on… OK then! That sounds like a GREAT plan! Saturday came and he woke up in a great mood, smiling and laughing at his Baba. Nikki and An Na came in and we started the process again. Then like a miracle, he leaned forward towards his bottle and pretty much emptied it! What? Whose kid is this? Oh yea, he is Jesus’ kid! Three hours later he did it again, then again three hours past that! About 3pm we got the green light to head for home and we didn’t hesitate. Henry has continued to eat like a champ since then. We are praying that the condition of his ears was the limiting factor on his lack of interest in bottle-feeding. There was considerably more fluid present that we suspected, and this condition could easily have been causing him a lot of pain (think earache and a thick milkshake…). We know he is hearing a LOT better as every sudden noise catches his attention (sometimes startling him to tears). Can you imagine not hearing all of these sounds than all the sudden they get turned on?! I would be startled too… An Na was once again great during this ordeal. Her Lao Lao (Nikki’s mom) spent a couple of days with her getting run around the hospital and keeping her out of our hair (An Na, not Lao Lao). She is such a good big sister and so very patient with the realities of her brother’s needs. We are praising God for her, know what a blessing she is to us, and cannot imagine how we would have gotten through another round of hospital days without her. Just FYI, she is really well-known around ACH… One of Henry’s nurses this week remembered her from the cafeteria on one of our clinic visits many months ago. Thank you all for you vigilant prayers and support. Your notes of encouragement were all read and embraced. We probably won’t reply to all of them but please know that your time was well invested. Most of all we are praising God for his continued provision for and favor on our family. We have so much, and yet we know His grace would be sufficient. Henry continues to be His miracle and we get to see His handiwork right in front of our eyes. Praising Him, Steve and Nikki"

Nebraska
I'm getting pretty good at moving around on my own now so NE was more challenging for Mommy than last time we were there. Mommy had to keep a close eye on me because I like crawling up and down the step that goes from the front room to the dining room but it took me a few bumps to get very good at it. I also like to eat lots of things that I shouldn't and pull things from shelves that look like fun. Still, we had a really great time going for walks and playing at my great-grandparents house and visiting my family there. Did you know that horses have hair but it's not any nicer to pull the horses hair than it is mommy's? You should also not try to stick your fingers in their noses. It makes them make weird noises. It didn't take mommy very long to realize that I'm much less cautious of everything than Olivia and where she would hesitate when she was my age, I just charge ahead.

Mommy has a fondness for weird-faced pictures of me and Livi so the funny face of me is one of her favorites. They make her laugh a lot.
