Thanks for the stickers

Baba sent me and Livi a big book with lots of doggy stickers...you're supposed to put the stickers in the book but this is more fun:

Julia's mud

Julia invited us to swim at her house but we had some idea of our own involving making and playing in mud. I really love Julia a lot but I think all little girls that are not Olivia are called Ivy...pronounced Ibeee so when I got up from my nap and mommy said "Do you want to go to Julia's house to play?" I said, "uh huh...Ibeee" MOmmy said, "no, JULIA's" I nodded and said "Ibeee" and this continued for, well, it's still continuing.

Cow appreciation day

Chick-fil-a has 1 day a year where you can get free food if you dress like a cow...so we did...all of us....twice in one day

Quick Trip

Mommy and Daddy had a meeting to attend in KC so I got to spend the day with grammy and grandad. Grammy has 400 billion pictures of us from her time with us that you can see on Mommy's facebook page and here are some from when Mommy and Daddy took us to the Clifford exhibit in Crown Center. I was one tired little guy by the time we left.

party-part 2

That other little guy is my friend, Jacob! We're pretty close to the same age and like a lot of the same stuff...namely, playing with a ball so we got along pretty well. As you can probably gather from the pictures, I was a little uncomfortable with the big noises that accompany the big fireworks.

Party-part 1

We went to the Bartholomew's house for a party on the 4th of July. We feasted on lots of food, jumped on the trampoline (that's a picture of me tackling Ms. Ivy Kate), spun in a chair with my cute little friend Leia, and later, when we were all sugared up and exhausted, we watched the big kids light fireworks. It was a GREAT time with our friends!

Happy Independence Day

I'm pretty stinking cute in this outfit but the sun is tooooo sunny to take many pictures

smoke balls and snakes

Mommy got us a few fireworks for the 4th of July. Livi insisted that we couldn't get anything made loud noises but only things that are beautiful and I'm too young to know better or protest yet so she wins for this year. We ended up with smoke balls, snakes, and pop-pops. The pop-pops are definitely most fun. You throw them, they pop (usually) and then you throw more...BUT...if they don't pop, you get to stomp on them to try and make them pop. I was a little unsure of this whole process until Livi showed me the ropes.

finally, JULY!

Now that July's almost over, mommy's finally making it TO July posts. Mommy found a pack of water balloons at Walgreens and thought they would be fun to try....MAN, was she ever right. We spent 30 minutes patiently filling up the balloons and wondering what they were and watching the bowl get more and more full. Mommy gave us each a balloon said we could throw them at whatever and whomever we wanted. That's a really weird thing for a mommy to say but we did and when they landed, they popped water all over. It was so much fun that it took about 3 minutes to empty the whole bowl of balloons and we laughed each time. Mommy tried to get me to play catch with Olivia but as soon as I caught it, I just threw it on the ground to make it pop. Two bowlfuls later and a lot of wet clothes later, we moved on to fireworks.

jumpy places

OUr playgroup went to the Jump Zone to play one really hot day. It was the first time mommy had taken both of us without Daddy and now she knows why. Livi wanted to go on the big slides but she was scared to go by herself and I didn't want Mommy to leave me at the bottom of the slide to take her so I'd scream and cry. I did some of the little slides by myself until I hurt my finger and then I refused to even go near any of them again and just stood by mommy and cried...it made for such a lovely time.

Squishy

I like to play this game with Daddy....he squishes me between himself and the couch. It is HYSTERICAL!

all booked

Mommy and Daddy bought a small bookshelf from some friends who are moving but all the books are still in the garage so Livi and I found other uses for it.

just like mommy

For those of you that know my mommy well, you'll see a pretty big resemblence here:

Gymnastics Joe

Our playgroup goes to Joe's about once a month. I mostly like to play with the balls but they didn't have the big room open this time so I just climbed over this big ball over and over and over and then got bored and mad at mommy because she wouldn't let me eat the donuts.

Random stuff from this summer

Do you see what I put up with?

Little Girls, little girls, everywhere I turn

Livi had her friend An Na and Ivy over to play and it was fun except that I'm the only boy and those girls are REALLY girly. They didn't want to play cars. They didn't want to be tackled. They didn't want to play "boo". They wanted to have a tea party and scream a lot. They did like the pool and eating popsicles so it wasn't a total bust.

soooo behind

I know we're behind...we've just been so busy that it's hard to keep up. These pics are from when we visited Grammy and Grandad in Branson for a few days while Daddy was gone at camp. We went to a dinosaur museum. My favorite part was the movie where I ooh and ahhhed and made lots of weird faces and then I played in the sand pretending to find dinosaur bones.

vacation part 1- Indiana

Mommy and Daddy did a mean thing and made me get in the van for a loooong time with only movies to entertain me although I did pretty well, mostly. THEN, we got to a beautiful park in Indiana with a waterfall and lots of trees and rocks to play on and guess what they did? They went inside an Inn and took me to a room full of people and kids I don't know and then they left me there while they listened to some guy talk. I picked one person as my snuggler each time they left me and I was not happy about it but the people I chose as snugglers seemed to like it a lot. Some of the girls were fighting over me but I'm just my own guy and pick whomever I deem worthy for that day. Know what else my parents did? They tried to make me get in a giant bathtub full of coolish water OUTSIDE and I didn't like that AT ALL! Mommy couldn't get me calmed down enough to play so Daddy eventually just let me get out. The rest of it was okay...I got to eat a lot and I like that. There were a couple of new beds to jump on and I like that. We got to go outside some and throw rocks and I'm always good with that. There was a telephone in the room that I liked to play with and my pack and play was sandwiched between 2 beds and it became the source of much jump and dive fun. P.S. Mommy thinks I look super big and grown-up in the first picture....and we don't know how I got that big ouchie.
