Ice storm
We had a big ice storm yesterday and even though the grown-ups and Livi thought it was a big deal, I did not. I took the best afternoon nap that I've ever had and slept like a trooper last night. I did not freak out like mommy every time something fell on the house and the popping didn't bother me at all. I just happily played and smiled and ate my toys like a good little boy.

Please pray for Kelti
Dear friends,
Once again, we're asking for prayers for a small friend. Mommy and Daddy's friends Justin and Jessica had a baby named Kelti in November. They found a heart problem called Tetralogy of Fallot. It will require open heart surgery to repair. So far, she hasn't had any symptoms and is growing well. Our prayer has been that God will totally heal her little heart, the doctors will be amazed, she'll not need the surgery and God will be given all glory because of this little princess. That, of couse, is what we'd prefer. Please pray for Kelti, her parents (it's a stress on them, and her big sister (who's close to Olivia's age). We all know how God answers prayers.
OOOHHHHHH.....AND....Mommy got to meet Henry briefly when she took his family a meal. She said he's very handsome and to keep praying for his health through this cold and flu season. It's especially hard on premature babies.
Thanks!

I did it
Of course, I had to wait for mommy to post my blog yesterday before I showed her my new trick. Not even 10 minutes after she finished on the computer, she walked into my room because she heard me making grunty noises. I had rolled over from my tummy to my back. The next time I did it, she got the very, very end of it on video but it's not loaded yet.

Growing strong
I'm doing new stuff all the time right now. I have 2 teeth already. I've learned to hold myself up on my strong legs. I have crazy great head and trunk control. I'm reaching and grabbing stuff and shoving it in my mouth. Mommy and Daddy are pretty sure I can roll over but it's usually in my bassinet and I don't have enough room to get all the way over in there. I can be held on a lap without much help. I can pet my kitty. I laugh and smile. My favorite songs are "Way Up in the Sky", "Pop goes the Weasel (Daddy style)", and "Shake Your Booty." I like Olivia a whole lot. She just has to look at me and I smile and laugh. And listen to this, I weigh 17 pounds. Mommy's still trying to stuff me into 3-6 month clothes but it's probably not going to work much longer. I wear a size 3 shoe. Holy Smokes!

Christmas
I know, I know! We're super behind again! The problem is that, well, it's mommy, really. I have a little secret. Mommy actually has to type this stuff up because my hand-eye coordination still needs some work. She is very busy (so she says) because she has 2 kids and had to find new places for all of our new stuff live and that was quite a feat.
My first Christmas was very nice, I think. I slept a lot because I get overstimulated pretty easily and that makes me just want to take a nap or get really fussy. I am not like my sister. She thrives on too much activity. We spent 2 weeks traveling to Nebraska to see my great-grandparents,aunt, uncle, and cousins and then bouncing all over MO trying to catch up with family and friends. Mommy forgot to pack the battery charger though so our camera only made it through about 10 minutes of Christmas morning before it died. Grammy had lots of pictures.
Here are some from Christmas morning at Baba's house from Aunt Annie's camera. I got lots of clothes and toys.
