"bye"

Pork Chop Stats

Tomorrow is my 11 month birthday. A few days ago, I had my 1 year well baby check. here are my official 11 month stats. I weigh 21.32 pounds (around the 45th percentile). I am 28.82 inches tall (again, about the 45th percentile). My head circumference is 18.7 inches (about the 75th percentile). Wait! What? oh yeah, I have a huge noggin :) I have 6 teeth. 2 on the bottom and 4 on the top. 1 of those teeth has already been chipped and I, therefore, will get to go see the pediatric dentist soon. My favorite books are the Peek a boo books with real baby faces followed closely by any touch and feel book. I can walk and it is my preferred mode of mobility now. I can sign "more". I can say 6 words (hi, bye, mama, EEA, uh-oh, and bubba). I can clap. It's my newest skill as well as my favorite. I've started singing along with songs REALLY loud and dancing. I do not like to sleep alone and I do not want mommy out of my sight. I really like the buttons on the keyboard. I'm good at tackling my sister and making her angry in lots of other ways too but we are also getting much better and having fun together. Mommy keeps telling Livi that she should be nice to me because I'm going to be bigger than her soon. Look at our feet side by side and decide for yourself :)

and a few more

Sepia

It seems that pictures of really everyday life seem very lovely in sepia.

Roses are Red

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
My sister likes girly things
And I'm forced to deal with crap pictures like this that will haunt me for all eternity.

New toothbrush

Mommy bought me my very own buzzy toothbrush and I love it so much that I get angry when Mommy puts it away. I like the way it makes my mouth all buzzy. UNFORTUNATELY, my aforementioned love of buzzy toothbrushes has already resulted in the death of 2 brushes (don't worry, they were only a quarter) so i'm now stuck with a regular old toothbrush that doesn't die if it gets thrown forcefully....errrrr, accidentally dropped on the floor 29 times a day.

My favorite room

Some may say it's a little girly, but I don't mind. I LOVE my sister's room. She has a crazy amount of toys, mommy lets her keep the music in her room, she has a bed that I can climb in and fall out of, and she has a night light. I spend most of my spare time in Livi's room.

New words and new skills

I can now say "Mama" (but I reserve it mostly for when I'm upset), "Hi" Olivia "EE-A" and "uh-oh" (which I say probably 60 times a day and that's not exaggerating). I'm also a full-fledged walked at the ripe old age of 10 months. Mommy hasn't gotten the walking video off the camera yet but someday, probably by the time I graduate college, she will.

Rythym

I'm a pretty big fan of anything that has a pretty good beat. It's even better if I can help make the beat.

That's from when I had my EEG. They had crazy lots of fun toys

new floors

Some of you know that Mommy and Daddy decided to take out our yucky, old, dirty, stinky carpet and put pretty, shiny wood floors in. Pretty, isn't it? I can make 72 billion finger and slobber prints on our new shiny floor in roughly .8 seconds.

Daredevil

Have I mentioned how much I love to climb? This is my newest love...not only do I climb on the trunk/end table...I stand up and bounce when I get there too. Mommy nearly had a heart attack when she found me like this in the front room all by myself.

weddings

Weddings aren't my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, I'm very well-behaved and look very cute but they are too long for me to sit and watch and usually last WAAAAAY past my bedtime.

Snuggly Simon

Simon and I have a love/hate relationship. I love him and he hates me (don't tell mommy but it's probably because I try to pull his tail and eat him). Buuuuut, every once in a while, this kind of thing happens anyway:

Slides are Slippery

We went to the park and daddy made me go down the slide. the first time was okay. The second time was too scary and I cried but my hair looked amazing!

EEG

This is my picture from when Daddy made me get up at 4 AM and stay awake FOREVER so a mean lady could glue stuff all over my head and make me cry harder than I've ever cried, let me sleep for 15 minutes and then wake me up again. AnD, we still don't have the results. Mommy and Daddy aren't very worried though. They said they're pretty sure I'm just fine.

Dancing with my sister

Livi sometimes wants me to dance with her but she can't seem to remember that I can't walk well yet.

Boogy

I really love music and I really love to dance. My friend, Dorit, gave me this horse for being born and so far, Olivia has ridden it far more than me but I do like the music a lot.

War Eagle Mill

When we went to War Eagle Mill with Aunt Annie, I had to stay in the pack so that I wouldn't break anything and that's fine with me. Mommy let me out to eat the table and play in the water. I loved the water immediately and got angry when Mommy wouldn't let me go farther in than I could crawl safely. I also stuck my face in the water lots of times and tried to eat many, many rocks. My diaper was roughly the size of a rhino when we finished swimming. Next time, Mommy will remember to bring some swimming attire.

Maniac

I am a climbing maniac. I will crawl on anything that I can manage to get a knee or foot on. So far, I have climbed and fallen off the little trunk, my gate thing, boxes, Livi's naughty chair, and probably quite a bit more that Mommy chooses to block from her memory.

I love Lowe's

Mommy put some of these on Livi's blog but here are some more that are fun of me and my favorite sister in the whole wide world....

ahhhhhhhhh

Mommy bought us a new toy. It's called a duster and so far, it's only collected dust from my face because I love it so much that she can't bring herself to defile it and make it Pork Chop unfriendly by putting real dust on it.

Stander Upper

I'm a stander-upper. Actually, I've been a stander upper for a long time now...mommy's just really behind. Now I'm a little bit of a walker. My world record went from 2 steps to 3 steps yesterday. This is one of my earlier standing pictures.

My swing

Grammy and Grandad got me a swing so that I'm not left out when Livi gets to swing. I like for Livi to push me. She makes me laugh.

4th of July

I REALLY wanted to play with the smoke balls and snakes but Mommy said they're hot. That didn't deter me at all. When Livi wanted to run into the house and away from the nonise, I'd crawl closer to see how it worked. We're different that way.
