Drums!

christmas

I love music, as you all know. Mommy found me this great present for really cheap with a coupon at Walgreens and couldn't pass it up...I'm glad she didn't. This little drum came with maracas, drumsticks, a castanet, a clacker, a tambourine, and a harmonica. Livi and I fought over it for a long time

simon in the tree

Simon has been climing our tree for many, many years. I think it's hysterical and so does my sister

books

I'm a bookworm like my sister. This is my favorite book. I really like all the animals. Mommy found me sitting by myself in my rocking chair saying "hi" to all the animals.

Oh Christmas Tree

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh CHristmas Tree...how barren are thy branches.
I really, really, really love our christmas tree. I have loved it since the second Daddy took it out of the attic. Mommy and Livi were kind enough to hang neat toys and shiny balls all over it. I love those things. This is what the tree looked like mere hours after it was all decorated nicely and EVENLY. Mommy has given up and just given the bottom half over to me. At least people peaking in the window would still see prettiness.

christmas party

Gina has the best toys at her house. Giant balls made out of sticks. My friend Andrew taught me how to play with them and they're hours of fun. The party was way past my bedtime but I was well entertained and managed nicely. I did have to snuggle up in Jun's lap to watch the gift exchange.

Hiking

I have a little different take on hiking than my sister. She wanted to be carried a lot. I, on the other hand, wanted down to run and explore but had to ride on Mommy's back the entire time. I started signing "all done" when we were only halfway through the first hike. Mommy said she didn't trust me with 300 foot drops off the cliff. She's probably right...I'm perhaps not the most cautious kid. I liked the waterfalls and the snacks that they kept feeding me to keep me from screaming in mommy's ears. I did NOT at all like the cave...not even a little bit. Daddys carried me (sort of ) through the crawly part and I cried because it was wet and cold and Daddy is not mommy and I wanted mommy. Then I was okay because mommy held me once we were in the back and then I cried all the way back through the cave. They didn't even let me play in the waterfalls. I did get to hold my own flashlight and I was a pretty big fan of it and I also liked saying "hi" to everyone we passed.

Thanksgiving

This was my first thanksgiving with real food. Last year, I was on a strict mommy's milk only diet. I really like food though so this was better. We put up our tree after we ate lunch and then I pulled every single ornament off the tree as soon as it was put on. And, guess what? Mommy put a whole bunch of balls on the tree. Balls are my favorite toy so you can imagine my joy to discover how many times a day I can take them off the tree and throw them across the room. At first, Olivia was getting angry with me for taking all the stuff off the tree but now she's accepted it as part of life with a little brother and no one even notices (much) that the bottom of our tree is naked.

Not for the weak of stomach

Just keep spinning....just keep spinning

Christmas music lovin' maniac

I really love music and was very excited when mommy played some christmas music to help us make pumpkin cheesecake. I figured out that the speaker gives the music and tried to carry it around but it was tethered to the computer. THat made me so angry that I just sad down on the floor and cried. But then I remembered there was still music so I decided to dance instead.

table topper

I figured out how to pull out a chair and use it to get on top of the table. Of course, I didn't tell mommy about my special new super power so she just had to find me on top of the table dumping a glass of water and playing in it. NOw there are very few spots left in our house that aren't within my reach

a pretty lady

Mommy and daddy sang in Amy and Ian's wedding a few weeks ago. I met this lovely lady named Tonya Mitchell and I thought she was pretty. She danced with me and I love her.

appropriate

Mommy didn't know that she had dressed me in this this very appropriate shirt for the day. I have turned into a big time crazy man. I climb on everything and in everything. I push all buttons everywhere. I torment my sister and the kitties. I fall off a lot of stuff.

Frisbee hayride

When we went on a hayride at Sam's house, I was already tired but I was a trooper. I like playing outside and I like fire and I really like food. I fell off a bench and hit my head on a rock and it made daddy all bloody and my hair gross but I was okay after a couple of minutes. The hayride was my least favorite part because I just had to sit there and not really climb around much. I'm not a fan of sitting still.

Henry

You all know my friend, Henry! We got to play together at the park. Henry is waving at mommy in this picture. He's doing pretty well now. He gained some weight when his formula switched so that's good. His lungs are doing pretty well too.

leaves

My face pretty much says how I felt about this big pile of leaves that Olivia kept throwing on my head.

Halloween part 2

This is from when we went to New Springs to trunk-ot-treat. Mommy cut the bangs of my horsey costume and I was much happier.

stupid hat

I'm a horse this year for Halloween. I am not at all happy about this. Despite the fact that I'm probably the cutest horse that's ever lived, I hate my hat and I scream whenever mommy puts it on my head. These are from today when mommy got me dressed and put my hat on before we went trick-or-treating with Henry and An Na.

I did a little better with the hat once we were caught up in the candy-getting action. I even kept it on for a little while without much complaining. Mommy's gonna trim the bangs some for tomorrow and see if that makes it a little better. I pulled some suckers out of my feed bag all by myself. I started to eat them still wrapped until mommy caught on to my little plan.

P.S. We forgot to take pictures of Henry but trust us, he's the cutest little monkey on the planet. We made big plans to play and eat lots of candy together for future Halloweens.

hiking

When we hiked the yellow rock trail at Devil's Den, I had to stay in the baby carrier almost the whole time. Mommy said something about not trusting me not to jump off the cliff. I only got out for a few minutes and spent most of that time eating....errrr....examining rocks. I did have a nice time waving at whoever wasn't carrying me at the time and saying Hi a lot. It's my favorite word. I also pointed out the trees and birds but the grown-ups don't understand my language enough yet to understand the finer points of my talk.

Fun with my grandparents

When Grammy and Grandad came to visit, it took me a couple of hours to warm up but then the fun was ON! Grandad is my most favorite book reader. I even took books away from Daddy so that Grandad would read to me. (Daddy didn't complain...I'm starting to rival Livi in the book loving department) Grammy is a really great jumping mat and she lets me touch the videos when I watch them on her camera.

peppers

Whenever Mommy opens the refridgerator, I run over and grab whatever I can as fast as I can. Sometimes I grab grapes. Sometimes I grab a pear or a peach but most frequently, I grab a bell pepper and then eat it all up. I love those things. I bet not many babies can say that.

smurf eater

Mommy thinks it looks like I ate a smurf in this picture but it was really just a blue marker and I liked it a lot! I would do it again.

Outside

We played outside for a long time today. The big ball is super fun to throw but it's hard to pick up without falling over.
AND....YAAAAYYY! We're finally caught up again.

coloring

This is my first attempt attempt at coloring. I thought it was pretty neat. My second attempt at coloring was, hmmm, maybe 2 hours later. Same crayon....pantry door instead of paper. Also, crayons are pretty fun to eat but they get stuck in your teeth.

Pear throwing

Mommy and I made up a new game. You pick up a pear, run to the fence, throw it over and then laugh like crazy when it hits the ground. Then you repeat 40 times.

Lips!

mmmmmmm. Candy. I'm pretty handsome, eh?

Bubba the red-nosed pork chop

I thought this was super funny. So did mommy
